About Me
My name is Ruki Panjwani (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and the founder of Amala Counseling. I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families—offering sessions both virtually and in person—under the supervision of Toni La’Zurs, LPC-S.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, a CACREP-accredited program known for its strong psychodynamic foundation. This approach invites you to explore the full picture of your emotional and relational challenges—not just manage symptoms, but create meaningful internal shifts that lead to lasting change.
You won’t find a one-size-fits-all model in my work. I take an integrative, personalized approach, keeping your relational dynamics at the center of our work together.
I also bring specialized training to support more complex emotional needs as a:
Certified Trauma Practitioner (CTP)
Certified Neurodivergent Specialist
Advanced PET-C practitioner (Pragmatic Experiential Therapy for Couples)
Trained in Systems Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Certified Martha Beck Life Coach
Whether you're facing repeated conflict in your relationship, navigating trauma, or seeking clarity around your emotional patterns—I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
